My love affair with photography began in middle school with a strong foundation in 35m film, where you couldn't immediately look at the results. You had to develop the skill to capture a "correct" photograph. I transferred those years through public school and college and beyond to the use of digital digital imaging. I have little need to look to see if it is correctly exposed. I look now for composure and the "look" of my clients.
Remaining true to my craft and skill, I have been photographing weddings for decades and consider it to be one of the greatest honors to be commissioned to capture such an auspicious moment at the beginning of a family’s legacy. Using creative photojournalism and fashion style, I strive to inconspicuously capture the unique moments of Your Big Day.
My portfolio spans major fashion events which have shaped my creative and fashion-like approach to photography. Fashion events such as DC Fashion Week, Northern VA Fashion Week, Charlotte Seen Fashion Week, Charlotte NC Fashion Week, Charleston Fashion Week, and Hautelanta Fashion Week as well as working for numerous Designers. I love corporate headshots, weddings, and the runway. It's because of their demand for creativity in capturing unique imaging.
Most of my portraiture includes Weddings, Executives, and Special Events.
